Tuesday 28th 

We woke up early and our parents drove us to Bilbao airport. There, we said goodbye to them and, together with Cristina, our new adventure began. 

We caught the flight without any problems, feeling very excited but also a bit nervous. We arrived around midday. After picking up our suitcases, we went straight to meet the family we would be staying with for the next month. 

Lenja and her father were waiting for me. I said goodbye to Cristina, and we headed to what would be my home for the next month. There, I met Lenja’s two younger siblings, and later, her mother. They were a very kind and welcoming family, and I felt comfortable with them from the very beginning. 

In the afternoon, I played board games with Lenja and her little brother.
