Monday 17th 

Today after school, Cristina, Filippa, Lenja, and I went to Munich. We walked around the city, and I got to see places I hadn’t seen before. 

The plan for today was to visit a small shop in Munich where you can make your own bracelet or necklace. I chose to make a bracelet, and honestly, I think all four of ours turned out really nice. 

After that, they showed us more of the city, and then we took the train back home. 

Tuesday 18th 
Today was a calm and quiet day, but in the afternoon, we baked a cake and some cookies, and they turned out great! 

After that, we went for a walk around the village, taking advantage of the nice weather. To finish the day, we watched a movie together.

Friday 28th   Today was my last day in Germany . I spent the day packing my suitcase and organizing my things , and als o keeping Lenja company while she packed hers .   Later , we had dinner all together and I said goodbye to her little siblings since I won’t see them tomorrow .   After that , Lenja , her mum , and I watched a movie together .   Tomorrow, we have to wake up early because we need to be at the airport well in advance, there’s been a strike lately and many flights have been postponed to tomorrow, so it’ll probably be very crowded.   Saturday 1st   Today we woke up very early , grabbed our luggage and headed to the airport .   There , we checked in and said goodbye to Lenja’s parents .   We went through security and caught our flight .   And just like that , this amazing experience came to an end , an experience I will always remember fondly . ...

Tuesday 25th   Today after school , Cristina, Luna, Jimena, Filippa , one of her friends , and I went to a trampoline park . Lenja couldn’t come because she had handball practice .   It was a bit far and we had to change trains, but we still had an amazing time, we ended up super tired !   After that , we took the trains back home.   Wednesday 26th   There are only a few days left of my time in Germany, so this afternoon I met up with Helen, my exchange student from last year.   We met in her town, went for a walk, and had something to eat . It made me really happy to see her again , but at the same time, I feel sad knowing I’ll be leaving soon .   Afterwards , I took the train and buses back home.   Thursday 27th   Yesterday I said goodbye to Helen, and today it was time to say goodbye to my cousin .   After lunch, I took the bus and train to Munich , where I walked ar...

Monday 10th   Today I wanted to cook something typical from Spain, and I decided to make tortilla de p atata because I think i t’s one of the most traditional dishes from Spain.   At my home, we always eat it with pisto manchego because my mom is from Castilla la Mancha, so I also decided to make that, even though I had never made it before! I think it turned out pretty well .   We were also really proud of the tortilla, since it was the biggest one I had ever made . We even had to flip it between two people ! I think everyone really liked the dinner , and we had a lot of fun cooking it together .
