Thursday 30th   In the morning, it was a normal day. We're still getting used to the new routine and the different schedule.   In the afternoon, besides being part of the water rescue team, Lenja also plays handball, so I went with her to her practice. I had a great time , and her teammates were really nice .   Friday 31 st   We went to school, and right after class, Lenja, who is also part of a values group, had an activity and I went with her.   All the students at the school had written a value on a small piece of wood, and the group was going to use them to create a mural. We spent the afternoon helping organize all the pieces.  

Wednesday 29th   It was our first day of school. We woke up, had breakfast, and took the bus that dropped us off right at the school entrance.   We met our classmates, and one difference I noticed is that in Spain we never eat at school, but here, since they sometimes have classes in the afternoon, they do.   After school, we took the train and the bus to get back home.   In the afternoon, since Lenja is part of the water rescue team, I decided to go with her to her training. We went to a nearby town where the swimming pool was, and we did several exercises. I also got to learn some new  water rescue  techniques.  

Tuesday 28th   We woke up early and our parents drove us to Bilbao airport. There, we said goodbye to them and, together with Cristina, our new adventure began.   We caught the flight without any problems, feeling very excited but also a bit nervous. We arrived around midday. After picking up our suitcases, we went straight to meet the family we would be staying with for the next month.   Lenja and her father were waiting for me. I said goodbye to Cristina, and we headed to what would be my home for the next month. There, I met Lenja’s two younger siblings, and later, her mother. They were a very kind and welcoming family, and I felt comfortable with them from the very beginning.   In the afternoon, I played board games with Lenja and her little brother.
